Description
As I was pondering intently what would be the best way to teach a young child the pledge of allegiance to the United States flag while using the same activity to target other learning areas, I realized that the biggest thing to do is.. repetition. But beside repetition, another skill it extremely helpful. That is learning kinesthetically.
And just like that, I got a fantastic idea for a Montessori-style activity that children might undertake at different ages and different levels to recognize, learn and possibly even memorize the Pledge of Allegiance fully, beginning to end. Check out this fantastic hands-on exercise. It is straightforward yet highly useful.
The fact that it offers a step-by-step lesson plan for you is the finest part. Everything is finished and ready to go! Simply print it out in color, single-sided, and read the lesson plan’s instructions. You will be fully aware of how to give a lesson to the child. There is no easier way to put it!
In order for the child to continue with this activity as they become older or as they master each level, I added a number of extension activities. I adore that all of the downloadable tools I create can be applied to children of various ages and that they can also be applied at various levels and for various goals.
The lesson plan includes a list of supplies that you need for this lesson as well as for the extension activities, instructions on how to set up the lesson presentation, a timeline on how long the lesson may take, the ages of the students it is intended for, the steps for the lessons themselves, a description of the direct and secondary goals for this lesson, and much more.
Additionally, the fact that it is so reasonably priced will delight you. It doesn’t get any better than that, like I mentioned! So what do you think? Purchase yours now!
